Live Traditional distillation in ancient still

Distillation workshop

From July 4th to August 24th 2023 Around our authentic naked flame still, each visitor discovers this famous alchemy to obtain through steam extraction, this precious extract of lavender named essential oil. Everyone is invited to fill the still with the lavender flower. Accompanied by the explanations of the distiller, the visitor experiences a real scene of yesteryear, with the scents which escape from the cap of the still, and the floral water associated with the essential oil which flows into the Florentine vase. The gardeners of the region bring their harvested flowers so that we can distill them, to go back with their own bottle of lavandin oil. It is a moment full of conviviality around the traditional still.
