What if you painted lavender, and your painting was scented?
How awesome would that be !?
Nathalie Andrieu, professional watercolourist shares her passion for painting, using the Museum’s scented watercolors. These buckets of scented pigments with natural essences used for our perfumes, were created exclusively by the Conservatoire des Ocres de Roussillon. Nathalie guides you to create your own masterpiece. Note that for this “watercolor workshop”, there is an additional €3 to be given directly to the artist on the same day.
Useful informations:
- A supplement of 3€ is to be given directly to the painter upon arrival at the workshop
- Duration of the watercolor workshop 1 hour, duration of the traditional visit 1 hour
- It is necessary to go to the reception to obtain your bracelet allowing access to the workshops.
— After the workshop, to follow the traditional audio-guided visit to the Museum, you must go to reception again to obtain the audio guide given free of charge with your ticket. It is available in 11 languages (French, English, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Czech, Russian, Japanese, Chinese).

The Art of Real Lavender in Provence from every angle: discoveries of botany, production, harvesting, distillation, history from the 16th century to the present day, know-how, uses and benefits of real lavender. Audioguided tour with 25 points of explanation in the exhibition room, access to the projection room to follow the documentary on the harvest of fine lavender at Domaine Le Château du Bois.
